Dr Toben,

Thank you for email, and I apologise again for the delay in replying. You make a number of assertions, some of which, in my opinion, are not correct. Firstly, in your email from September 23, you assert that:

> Be advised that I have a legal gag order against me to discuss things. So
> the balance would be missing in any debate.

According to the ruling against you, as Director of the Adelaide Institute, you are not denied the right to "discuss things". You are prevented from publishing allegations of the nature contained in the documents named in the ruling in any medium over which you have control directly or through a third person, whom you ask to publish on your behalf. The new content on your web site demonstrates clearly that you are not barred from publishing - you may not be able to publish everything you wish, but you can still publish.

Indeed, I have no desire to respond to the rhetoric contained in your emails, other than to correct statements that are inaccurate.

On your web site at http://www.adelaideinstitute.org/battlefront/for_students.htm you assert that I have libelled you and your fellow 'revisionists' by using terms such as "Holocaust denier" and "racist". The former I use quite openly, as my research has shown me that you and your colleagues do not deserve to be called "revisionists", as is outlined on the page http://www.williscarto.com/revdenial.html of my site. On the other hand, I challenge you to show me where I have called you or any of your colleagues a "racist". Please point out to me where to term even appears on my web site, as I cannot find it on any of the pages of the site.

You ask why I do not focus on the gas chambers. I feel that this is self-explanatory. My site is designed to provide information about the Holocaust denial movement, not about the historical record of the Second World War. In future I may highlight the fallacy of Holocaust denial by pointing to the lies, half-truths and distortions that are its essential nature, but I have no intention of providing information about the mechanics of gassing, and so on. There are enough other sites and books that do this admirably.

Sincerely,

Anthony Long.
